Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know how my photo will turn out?
Once you upload, you will be presented with an image quality score and advice on how big you can print your image while still maintaining quality. We suggest using an image or file at least 1 100KB or 1MB.
When will my poster be printed and shipped?
Order before 2:00 PM Eastern Time and your poster will be printed and shipped out that Same Business Day. All other orders will be shipped the next business day.
How are your prices so cheap at such a high quality?
We’ve focused on printing just this one type of poster so well, that it allows us to print quickly and accurately each and every time AND to source the best inks and papers at the best volume prices.
What paper do you print on?
We print on HP 9.1 mil Everyday SATIN finish photo paper.
What printing technology do you use?
We use a pigment inkjet based process. We help you create vivid high-impact prints with brand new high gamut 8 ink technology. We also use the latest embedded spectrophotometer to help you get consistent, accurate color every time.
What is the file size limit on upload?
Currently the filesize upload limit is 100MB.
What kind of lamination do you use?
We use premium 6.3 total lamination film because it has a crystal-clear finish and a perfect edge seal that won’t cloud, fog, crack peel or fade – available in glossy (sexy) or matte (unsexy). For only $12 extra we will laminate ANY size poster. Just check the lamination option box at step 2.
What’’s the optimal file size and format?
We prefer a TIFF file sized to final print size at 150 d.p.i., RGB color. You may also use LZW compression for faster upload, however it is not required. (Note: 150 d.p.i. is the maximum necessary resolution for perfect quality digital prints. The 300 d.p.i. needed for offset printing is not necessary with our digital printing presses.)
