Promote a Fundraiser with a PosterBrain Poster

We’re continually surprised by how socially responsible our customers are. Last week we saw this great fundraiser poster for an American Cancer Society dinner.
Seeing posters like this restores our faith in humanity. You’re involved in fundraising for some great causes! We love you!
If you’ve got a cause, you need a PosterBrain poster to promote that cause. It’s that simple. We’ve done extensive consumer research on this. If you get a poster from us, you’re 97% more likely to hit your fundraising budget than without. Just kidding- but why take the chance on having a dud of a fundraiser?
Classroom Posters for Teachers at PosterBrain

This poster a teacher printed for her art class is just one example of the great classroom posters we see teachers making and sending to PosterBrain to make into huge posters.
If there’s something that’s an important theme in your classroom this year, make a poster! There’s nothing like a poster on the wall, staring down at them, to remind your students of what you’re trying to teach them.
Printing Promo Posters at PosterBrain

Indie Bands Print Posters at PosterBrain

This week, we printed cool music posters for indie bands like Tanglewood a rockabilly band and solo performers like Jambo Joe Bones from Wisconsin.
More and more indie bands are printing their band’s promo posters at PosterBrain.com.
Indie bands are finding that they can print a small run of posters for the key record stores they’re targeting, or to autograph and sell at a table after the show, without having to make the big cash outlay they’d have to make with a traditional printer.
Bands feel good about making custom posters with us, because PosterBrain prints on real, archival-quality photo paper and so they’re not going to get ripped or torn if they’re placed at a high traffic spot in a record store or club. Even better, the posters will still look like like new when their rockin’ the nursing home circuit.
Print Any MotivatedPhotos.com Poster at PosterBrain.com

Are you sick and tired of those lame motivational posters from the 1980’s that your boss hung up all over the office to “inspire” the team? Now there’s a great site called MotivatedPhotos.com that lets you make a “demotivational” poster. Take any photo you like, any motivational phrase you like, and put them on a poster.
What could be even better than MotivatedPhotos? Being able to print a PosterBrain poster from your MotivavedPhotos! Yep, we’ve partnered with MotivatedPhotos to let you print the demotivational posters you create, or those others have created that you just like on the site, as amazing quality PosterBrain posters.
So, here’s what you need to do:
1. Go to MotivatedPhotos.com to print your posters.
2. Sneak into the office at night.
3. Take all those lame motivational posters down.
4. Put up all the hysterically witty and darkly sardonic posters you made at MotivatedPhotos.com
5. In the morning, watch your Boss freak out when he walks in.
We Love Artists, and Artists Love the Quality of PosterBrain Posters

Because PosterBrain uses a special rendering process and prints posters on archival-quality paper, it’s no surprise that fine artists are discovering that PosterBrain is a great place to make reproductions of their artwork.
The artwork above is one of several posters we’ve done for Phillip Zucco, a renowned computer graphics artist from Los Angeles. We love your art Phillip!
Retail Point of Purchase POP and Display Posters at PosterBrain.com

Here are two great examples of retail point of purchase display posters we printed this week: The first is for the Pete Store, an exclusive Peterbilt Truck dealer with 6 locations in Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The second is for Beach Graphics in Rehoboth Beach, DE to be used as an in-store display. Even though we see posters every day, they are some of our favorites this week, because the just pop!
PosterBrain prints all kinds of in-store POP posters for retailers. From restaurants to specialty stores, we can do small runs far more cost-effectively than with a traditional printer, and our quality is far superior. Because we use actual archival-quality photo paper, the colors really pop, and they’ll last much longer.
If you need to make a custom point of purchase retail poster and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, PosterBrain is a great choice.
Make Book Tour and Trade Show Publicity Posters at PosterBrain

When you go to a book signing of your favorite author and you see those really cool posters of the book cover blown up, mounted, and hanging on easels next to the author, think of PosterBrain. We love doing posters for authors for book promo tours and trade shows.
If you’re an author, a book publisher or a marketer working with authors to promote their books, a short run of PosterBrain posters to promote your book is far more cost effective than working with a printer. The posters you’ll get are amazing quality and they’ll give you the credibility you need with book buyers at trade shows and at signings at bookstores.
The other day we did publicity posters for Angela M. Havens’ new book, The Memoirs of Sadie Wrayburn. Angela, they look great!

Meetings and conferences don’t have to be boring, especially when you can make almost anything into a great visual poster at PosterBrain to give your presentation some panache. PosterBrain makes it easy. Just save your powerpoint document as a .JPG .PNG .GIF .TIF .BMP .PDF .AI .EPS .PSD file and upload it to PosterBrain.com You’ll be a rock star presenting at your next conference. And when you get that promotion, don’t forget, you owe us!
Independent Filmmakers Choose PosterBrain for Indie Movie Posters

PosterBrain prints a lot of movie posters for indie filmmakers. Last week, when independent filmmaker Keri Lurtz needed to promote her new indie film, Lost Angel – City of Dreams, she turned to PosterBrain to print promo posters. Similarly, this week, we just printed a poster for Last Rites of the Dead, an indie horror film.
Indie filmmakers don’t need a zillion posters to promote the opening of their film, so they don’t need a big print run. That’s where PosterBrain comes in. For a small run of four-color movie posters, PosterBrain is a far more economical printing solution than a traditional print shop.
Oh, and if you’re in the Miami area, Keri’s film premieres at the Delray Beach Film Festival on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 11:30am, at the Crest Theatre at Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach. Good luck Keri!
Make a Great Map Poster With GoogleEarth

This image is a GoogleEarth image of the Confluence of the Green River and the Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park in Southern Utah. This photo is really cool, because you can see that the Green River is actually, well, green.
Most people don’t realize that you can use GoogleEarth to generate a nice image that is high enough resolution that it will make a great PosterBrain poster.
Here’s all you need to do:

1. Find the part of the earth that you’d like to make into a map.
2. Click File, then Save, then Save Image.
3. Save the image to your desktop.

4. Then, all you need to do is upload it to PosterBrain.
It’s as easy as that! Using this technique, you can make a map out of literally anywhere on the globe!

It’s a big drop as this intrepid hiker jumps a gap between two giant, sandstone mushrooms near White Crack Camp on the White Rim Trail in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park.
A Whale of a Deal at LivingSocial.com

Every week we get to print posters for professional designers. Andy Helms is one of the designers we get to work with frequently. He is part of a company called Living Social. You can go to their site and see tons of great deals in your area. This poster will be going up in their office to highlight especially good deals. Yet another great image tuned into a great poster.
Guilt & Sentence Indie Movie Poster

Some of our favorite posters are independent movie posters. SpenceTF Productions just had their movie poster made with us. Guilt and Sentence is their newest movie, which will come out in June 2010. It is a drama about two individuals who are connected by one tragic event. I don’t want to give anything away so check out their site if you are interested.
Secret Hawaii Beach Spot

Trudy H. had a beautiful poster printed with us. It is a picture of their semi-secret spot in Hawaii. All they would tell me is that it is on the Southern part of the big island and that it is only accessible on foot or with a serious four-wheel drive vehicle. What a great poster to have printed! A reminder of a warm sunny place in these dark and cold months.
Make a Duplicate of a Treasured Family Painting

Mike C purchased a painting over 30 years ago. As he moved from apartment to apartment and house to house this painting moved with him. His three children grew up equally loving the image. So when he gave it to one of them the other two kids were not happy. As a gift he made two copies of the image so they can all enjoy their favorite childhood painting. Problem solved with PosterBrain!
Big Air 4-Wheeler ATV Poster

Have you ever done something really cool? Something so cool that no one would believe it unless they saw it. Josh B has, and now he has the poster to prove it. This is an image of him jumping a HUGE truck on an off-road track in Middlebury. I am not sure how you land safely when you are that high, but apparently Josh knows. So next time you are doing something a little crazy, don’t forget to get a picture so you can make a poster.
‘67 Ford Mustang American Muscle Poster

Recently Scott T. had some amazing American muscle posters printed with PosterBrain. His pride and joy, Nicknamed “Black Momba”, is a ’67 Mustang fastback. An undisclosed amount of hours were put into the car, but if you take a look at his site here it is obvious that this was no quick fix up project. For all you Eleanor fans, (that’s right, a Gone in 60 Seconds reference) be sure to check out his site where his posters are available for purchase.
Favorite View Poster

Everyone has a favorite view. Maybe a regular vacation spot or quick getaway destination, if you are lucky it is somewhere close. For Delores it is on her brother’s porch in northeastern Washington. This is exactly what she looks at while drinking her morning coffee every day while she visits. She had this poster made so she could enjoy the view from her own home in Ohio every day. We all though this was a really cool idea! Thank you so much Delores.
Art Posters – Cindy Deluz, Danish Dwellings

We get a good amount of professional artists developing their work with us. Recently we printed a few posters for Cindy Deluz. We quickly found the only thing more cheerful than her art is her personality. All of her images are warm and seem to make you feel good about the world around you. You can check outCindy’s website here. Or, you can see what is going on at her blog as well.
